The First Baptist Church of Judsonia, Arkansas, holds a deep historic connection to the area's 19th-century educational roots and early Baptist missionary efforts. Named in honor of Adoniram Judson, America’s first Baptist foreign missionary, the town was once home to Judson University, which operated from 1871 until the 1880s. It was during this era that the church was founded. Following the university's closure, its original steeple bell was transferred to the church, where it remains in use today. Recently, FBC celebrated its 150th anniversary. The church seeks to be a fellowship of believers seeking to love others as God has loved them. We believe our purpose as a church is to serve unselfishly, love sacrificially, and live Christlike lives that reveal the glory of our great God to all.
